Summer = ice cream. You just can't deny that.

On a hot summer day, all you want is a cone that will eventually drip all the way down your arm. Totally worth it, though. Now when there is an ice cream festival, that's a different story. More than worth it.

The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is hosting a huge ice cream festival, and there is way more to do than just to lick ice cream. At this festival, you'll be able to watch how ice cream is made, Nestlé will be handing out frozen treats, and you'll be able to meet Dairy Farmers of Ontario. And of course, the best part, eat ice cream from the food trucks and carts!

The food services include:

  • Stella Luna food cart
  • The Merry Dairy food truck
  • Pascale's All Natural Ice Cream tricycle
  • Sweet Clementines food cart
  • Oat & Mill food cart
  • Mr. Churritos food cart
  • The Hot Potato Company food truck

For those who don't enjoy ice cream or can't have it, don't worry, there are a ton of other options you can choose from. And you'll also be able to discover the history of ice cream while tasting delicious treats. What more could you ask for?

The Ice Cream Festival is on July 16th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Your admission into the festival is included in the museum admission, but the food services cost money. Make sure you bring your cash! This is a festival you can't miss out on this summer.

The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is located at 861 Prince of Wales Dr. Visit their website for more information.
