Well well well. Another cafe opening up in Ottawa. Are we mad? Not at all. Actually, if the whole city could just be filled with adorable cafes, the world would be a better place.
Most cafes are lowkey, very modern, and have a hipster vibe to them. Not The Dreamland Cafe. This fairytale themed restaurant is one that will bring out the kid in you. With tie dye coloured walls and a unique spin to a pasta cafe, they're doing it right.
Two young sisters opened this cafe downtown about a month ago, and we're living for how authentic and real it is. The two girls believe in homemade meals like what they've grown up with, so all of the meals are made by them. Uhm, can we talk about goals?!
We can get into a rut of feeling like nothing cool happens in Ottawa, but then places like The Dreamland Cafe open and our opinions change. Not only do they just sell pasta, but they sell meatball subs, coffee/tea, italian soda (which is to die for), and baked goods. Sooo, they have everything you'd ever want basically.
The Dreamland Cafe is a must to try out in Ottawa. Also, did I mention how good the tie dye wall would look on your Insta? *heart eyes* The Dreamland Cafe is located at 200 Laurier Ave W. For more info, check out their website here.
