Calling all cheese lovers. Sorry to those who are lactose intolerant, I understand your pain.
A beautiful and much needed mac and cheese festival is coming to Ottawa. Mac My Cheese Fest will let you experience all different kinds of mac and cheese, from original to simply out of this world. Of course, no mac and cheese fest would be the same without plenty of cheese given out by St. Alberts Cheese Company.
There are a ton of vendors that will be blowing your mind with their version of mac and cheese, and you definitely heard of these guys before:
- Upper Deck Diner
- The Great Canadian Poutinerie
- Bytown Bayou
- Green Papaya
- Smokin' R&R BBQ
- Cheeburger Cheeburger
- Smoke 'n Steam
- Mr. Churritos
- Tiny Toms Donuts
- Terry's Lemonade
- Caffeine Fix
Of course, I don't think there would be a churro mac and cheese, so there are definitely dessert options that you can also look forward to. From pad Thai mac and cheese to lobster mac and cheese, you're bound to find something you like. But believe me, you'll love every bite.
Mac My Cheese Fest is on from September 29th to October 1st, so you have plenty of time to clear your schedules to make room for this #cheatday. It's located at Ottawa City Hall and the times are Friday to Saturday 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. For more information, check out their website here.
