Camp Fortune Is Offering Haunted Chairlift Rides This Weekend
As if chairlifts aren't scary enough.
Never mind haunted houses. Imagine locking yourself into a chairlift and taking an inescapable haunted round trip ride through the dark wilderness of Gatineau Park.
Camp Fortune is offering different fare from their daytime chairlift rides and will be transforming their chairlifts at night into a horror fest in the Gatineau Hills. The chairlift will be on the backside of the hill at Skyline (one of the steeper chairlifts at the ski resort). Don't look back and grip those cold chairlift handlebars. It's going to be a long ride.
This will be the first time the ski hill has opened the Skyline chairlift as a haunted ride (and no, we're not counting the time you cried when you first learned how to ski).
The haunted chairlift ride will be open on Oct. 28 and 29 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Tickets will be $10 for all ages, which is considerably cheaper than most haunted houses in the Ottawa area.
The ski hill is just 10 minutes away from downtown Ottawa at 300 Chemin Dunlop, Chelsea, QC. More info can be found on Camp Fortune's website.
