Elf Is Returning To The Big Screen In Ottawa Next Week
Don't lie, Elf is pretty much the best Christmas movie that graced the screen. So, obviously, when we found out it was coming back to the big screen (and Ottawa) we were like:
For just one day next week, Ottawa's own historic movie theatre, the Mayfair, is holding a screening of the Will Ferrell classic. They'll be playing the movie at 1:30pm on December 23, just right before Christmas Eve. Relive the iconic snowball fight, watch Buddy attempt to get on the escalator and call out the fake mall Santa. And this:
Tickets will be 10 dollars for non-members at the theatre. If you purchase a membership at the theatre you can get in for $6.00.
Elf won't be the only Christmas classic playing at the theatre next week (and no, we're not sitting on a throne of lies). You can watch Ralphie attempt to convince his parents and Santa to buy him a Red Ryder B.B. Gun at the screening of A Christmas Story on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 1:00pm. And then there's also another screening of Die Hard on Monday, Dec. 19 at 6:30pm. It's Christmas classics galore. More info can be found on the Mayfair's website.
Are you ready to get festive, Ottawa?
