Caesars > Bloody Mary's. If you're from Canada, you already know that. Let me quickly explain what a caesar is and why you need it in your life: A caesar is Clamato juice, which is a blend of tomato and clam broth, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce and celery salt around the rim. That's just a typical, straight to the point caesar. However, Canadians are not afraid to mix things up and throw in random ingredients whether that's some form of meat, something spicy as hell, or any type of shellfish.

If you've never tried a caesar, the best time to try one would be when you're super hungover. It's Canada's 'natural' way of healing yourself after a long night out and it definitely somehow works. The best thing about a caesar is that it's appropriate for any time of the day and literally no one judges you. All of the ingredients together may sound odd, but don't knock it 'till you try it! We may not go overboard and put a full hamburger in our caesars, but in Ottawa, we still try and think of the most creative ways (and somewhat normal ways) to mix up our signature drink. So here are 16 of the most mouthwatering caesars you must try in Ottawa:
