A Huge Poutine Festival Is Coming To Ottawa This Spring
Bring on the cheese curds, gravy and french fries!
This Spring Ottawa will be hosting a massive poutine festival that you need to visit! From April 25 - 29, 2019, you'll be able to indulge in the ultimate Canadian dish of cheese curds, gravy, and french fries.
At Poutinefest you'll have four days to try a variety of delicious poutines which include everything from the classic version to exotic flavour combinations. In previous years some of the unique poutine flavours sold included lobster bacon poutine, duck poutine, pogo poutine, and pad thai poutine.
Make sure to go hungry, as there will be tons poutineries to try. The full list of vendors will be released shortly, but right now local restaurants D'arcy McGee's, Nate's Restaurant, The Office Pub, South Block Whiskey Bar, Brixton's, Bier Markt and 3 Brewers are all confirmed.
Poutinefest is a free event, where you only pay for the food you order. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the warmer weather, and lounge on the patio and enjoy some fantastic food. There will also be live music and street performers to help keep you entertained.
Poutinefest will be open from 11 am to 9 pm each day, with reduced hours on Sundays closing at 7 pm. For more information about the participating poutineries make sure to visit Poutinefest's website.
