You Can Watch Movies For Free Outdoors In Ottawa This Summer
No more Netflix in bed.
I swear, in movies people are always watching movies outdoors. I've always wondered if that was something people actually did in real life. Well, it is. And it's amazing.
Whether you're looking for a cute date option, or you're just looking for something free to do on the weekends, this is for you! Centretown Movies is back for another summer, and let's just say we're more than excited.
Located in Dundonald Park, this is the perfect summer hangout spot. You can bring your dog, bring a picnic, and of course, a few blankets to snuggle up on. No matter if you go alone, with a date, or with your friends, the movies are suitable for everyone. Oh, did I mention they're free?
The movie schedule is out and the choices are primes. Ranging from movies like School of Rock (one of my all time favs) to Jurassic Park to My Best Friends Wedding, these classic movies are bound to bring you a ton of nostalgia.
So grab your friends, some food, your dog, blankets, whatever you'd do for a movie night at home. Maybe you're tired of drinking every Saturday night and want to change it up. This is the perfect place to do so!
Centretown Movies are every Friday and Saturday night of the summer, weather permitting. The movies start at 9 pm, but you do want to get there earlier to get a good spot. You can check out the movies and schedules here.
