The Interior Of This Motel Just A Couple Hours From Ottawa Will Make You Want To Stay There Forever

Straight out of a movie.

I think motels have very weird reputations. It seems like everyone thinks they're dirty, have bed bugs, and the sheets are never washed. And while some may be like that, let's not give in to that stereotype, as you have not seen the interior of this motel yet.

Honestly, this motel is straight out of a movie. Or an Instagram photo. Or a Pinterest board, but you get the point. The June Motel, which is 2 and a half hours from Ottawa in Picton, which is between Kingston and Toronto, is the perfect staycation. From the outside, you'd probably drive right past it and not think twice. But from the inside... wow.

From the outside, it truly looks like nothing special. But once you walk in, the girly and 'good times' vibes really pull you in. You don't have to be a girly girl to stay at this motel. Anyone can appreciate it's beauty, and the vibe of this hotel says it all. Maybe you're looking for a staycation that's away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and kind of hidden away. Well, The June Motel is definitely just that.

In the hotel lobby there is an adorable bar that will make you never want to leave. But if you do want to leave, Prince Edward County is just 15 minutes away, so you can book a stay here and then go tour wineries as well. What a perfect trip!

The June Motel has a total of 16 rooms available, so you won't be stressed that so many people are around if you just want some quiet. They even say on their website that they decided to renovate an old motel to give people a different views on what motels can be. Aka, not dirty!

On average, the rooms range from $120 to $200 a night, which is pretty good as I doubt you'll get this stunning experience anywhere else in Canada.

The June Motel also has a firepit that you can sit at at night, and the back of the property leads to a terrace where you can sit by the water. Really, there is no cuter place to spend a weekend. For more information on The June Motel, visit their website here
