This Cat Cafe In Montreal Randomly Has Skateboarding Cats And You Need To See It
Sometimes, you read titles that make you do a double take. I'm sure this was one of those titles for you. But I'm glad this got your attention because this is definitely not something you see everyday.
Cat cafes are all the rage these days. Seriously, what's better than catching up with a friend while drinking a latte and petting a cat? Sure, you can do that at home, but cat cafes are filled with so much love. But this cat cafe is... uhm... different.
At Café Chat l'Heureux in Montreal, which translates to Happy Cat Cafe, these cats are living the dream. Not only do they have so many friends to play with, but they conform to the stereotypes that cats are lazy. Why is that? Well, these cats get around by skateboards. No, I'm not kidding. Here are a couple of videos to prove it:
These cats are seriously everything. Now don't worry, these cats are not held against their will at Café Chat l'Heureux. All of these cats have been adopted depending on their ability to interact with other cats and humans, aka they're all very lovable, and were taken in from shelters.
If you're more into coffee than skateboarding cats, then that's fine too. The cafe sells gourmet grilled cheese, salads, homemade desserts, and much more. They have every coffee option you could ever want, but they also have homemade lemonade and iced tea in the summer that is to die for.
Now this is a cafe you must visit. It's located at 172 Duluth Est in Montreal, and their hours vary. For more information, visit their website here.
