Sweat. Grime. Smog. Sun damage. Whether you're aware of it or not, your skin goes through a whole hell of a lot on a day to day. And although I'm sure we all try our best to give our skin the TLC it needs, we could all use a little help.
This is where facials come in. Practical for both men and women, facials are super useful for ridding the skin of what we can't remove ourselves; whether it be extracting deep gunk in our pores or exfoliating dead skin cells.
Most dermatologists and aestheticians recommend getting a facial anywhere from once a month, two twice a year depending on your skin's needs. It's important to note that facials are not a miracle cure for beautiful skin. As my dermatologist put it, "Getting a facial is a lot like getting a dental cleaning - it'll make your mouth really clean, but it's no use if you don't brush your teeth."
That being said, facials are great to get your skin ready for the summer season. Lucky for you, we've picked some of the best spots in Toronto to get the job done.
