Dating is stressful, and having to worry about where to go if you or your date don't drink shouldn't add to it. There's actually quite a few ways to have fun on a date without alcohol in Toronto. In fact, non-drinking dates can be even more fun than drinking ones. A creative day out is a million times more impressive than just getting drunk at a bar together. So here you are if you're feeling stuck- a few things you and your date can do together that accommodate a non-drinking lifestyle.

A romantic dinner at Mother's Dumplings

The 20 to 24 piece dumpling sets were just made for sharing, and nothing makes a date go better than a good meal.

Watch a movie at the VIP Lounge

VIP Lounge theatres do offer you the opportunity to order alcohol, but you don't have to take it, because there's so many other perks to this movie watching experience. Massive seats, the ability to order food from your seats, and an excellent view of the screen will make your date feel like they're getting the royal treatment.

Get some coffee at Kensington Market

There's a whole bunch of cute coffee shops around here, and once you've had your drinks, you can wander around looking at fun knick knacks.

Go taste testing at St. Lawrence Market

You can easily spend ages here trying out different foods, and exploring everything there is to see. At the end of your stay, decide on your favourites and bring them back with you for dinner in your favourite park.

Try some spicy espresso shots at the Distillery District

At Soma Chocolate, the spicy chocolate espresso really bites back, but in a good way. Try some out with your date, then wander around the neighbourhood and marvel at the beautiful architecture.

See a drive-thru movie at The Docks

This drive-thru is only open in the summer, but is definitely worth keeping in mind until then. Take your car out with your date and enjoy a romantic, old school date.

Ice skating at Nathan Phillips Square

Nathan Phillips is a pretty decked out rink, and it opens up again this month. Ice skating is a great excuse to show off to your date if you're good at it- or cling to them if you're not.

Rock climbing at the Rock Oasis

Rock climbing will get your adrenaline pumping, so it'll put both of you in a good mood. Besides, how cool will you look, suggesting a date idea like that?

Tobogganing at Christie Pits Park

A perfect winter weekend activity. This is a great opportunity for the two of you to get cuddly and have a lot of fun doing it!

Go for a stroll through Crothers Woods

There's some great scenery here, and you can impress your date by pointing out the wildlife that you recognize. Or just let the majesty of nature speak for itself

Biking through the Islands

This will still be fun for another few weeks. Pick a sunny day and rent out a tandem bicycle. Bonus points if you bring a picnic lunch along with you to enjoy while looking out at the Toronto skyline.

Explore some of the vintage stores on Queen West

You never know what you might find in this quirky neighbourhood. See if you two can put together outfits for different eras- Mad Men! Flapper! 90s! Have at it.

Go Mushroom Picking

For those of us who are into urban agriculture, this will be a ton of fun. The Mycological Society of Toronto is putting together tours for the month of November, so get in on them while the getting's good!

Have a picnic at High Park

This'll show your date how thoughtful and resourceful you are. Put together a nice basket, and enjoy the fall air.

See a play

Yes, plays still exist, and they're a lot of fun. The Princess of Wales Theatre is showing The Book of Mormon for the rest of the month. You know, that musical put together by the people who made South Park? It's supposed to be painfully hilarious. You and your date will love it.
