1. Kupfert & Kim // Multiple Locations.

2. Bunner's // 224 Augusta Ave.

224 Augusta Ave - Bunner's is both gluten-free and vegan, and was recently titled "Best Bakery" in Toronto! Make sure to try their cinnamon rolls.

3. Live Food Bar // 264 Dupont St.

Live is famous for its gourmet, gluten & sugar free, vegan menu. It offers a relatively expansive menu which includes modified comfort foods including burgers and tacos!

4. Arepa // 490 Queen St W.

An arepa is essentially a Venezuelan cornmeal pancake stuffed with a variety of ingredients in the style of a sandwich. Arepas are the featured item at this Queen street cafe, and since the bread is corn-based, most items on Arepa Cafe's menu are totally gluten-free. They also feature gluten-free cheesecake and cookies on the dessert menu!

This quirky diner offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with plenty of gluten-free substitution opportunities across the board.

6. Feel Good Guru // 135 Tecumseth St. #2

A tiny but quaint spot with mostly raw/vegan fare that also happens to be gluten-free. You'll find insanely healthy takes on your favourite comfort foods, including burgers, tacos, and burritos.

7. Almond Butterfly // 100 Harbord St.

This bake shop & espresso bar has a 100% gluten-free menu that includes cakes, cupcakes, bagels, and hot sandwiches.

8. Rawlicious // 2122 Bloor St W.

A totally raw, vegan, gluten-free eatery with cold-pressed juice & smoothies, along with healthy renditions of milkshakes, brownies, quesadillas, pad thai, and so much more!

9. Fresh // Multiple Locations

With 4 locations on Bloor St W, Spadina, Queen St W, and Eglinton - Fresh offers an expansive juice and smoothie menu, as well as gluten-free breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. Be sure to try one of their fresh bowls!

10. The Beet Organic Cafe // 2945 Dundas St W.

Voted the best take-out spot in Toronto, The Beet offers inspired organic cuisine. Unlike many of the above restaurants, The Beet isn't vegan, just gluten-free. This means all day breakfast with actual eggs, and burgers with actual beef!

11. Urban Herbivore // Multiple Locations

With 3 Toronto locations on Oxford, College, and in the Eaton Centre, Urban Herbivore is an ethical food distributor committed to sustainability and health. Everything is made from scratch and is totally vegan. Most of the menu is gluten-free and substitutions are available.

12. Relish Bar & Grill // 2152 Danforth Ave.

This fun spot is home to both gluten-free cuisine and nighttime entertainment. Relish offers a specialized gluten-free menu with a total of 25 dishes.

Pan-Asian á la carte style menu committed to gluten-free lifestyles. Riz's menu offers diversity to an extent that gluten-free folks would never have dreamed of!

Specializing in Arepa sandwiches on a whole new level. At El Arepazo, you can look forward to getting a lot for what you pay for; this spot is super affordable!

15. Grasshopper Restaurant // 310 College St.

With a 4.6/5 rating on Google, this company definitely sticks to its philosophy that "flavour comes first". Grasshopper offers a totally vegan menu that also happens to be mostly gluten-free.

16. Raaw // 146, 171 Liberty St E.

Located inside the Liberty Village Market Building, this Japanese restaurant isn't just great if you're gluten-free - it also happens to be one of Toronto's highest ranked sushi spots altogether.
