1. The Only Backpacker's Inn // 966 Danforth Ave.

This is a great location for those looking to make friends during their stay.  The staff and guests give this hostel a strong sense of community, and always make new travelers feel welcome! The free breakfast they offer is awesome, and the waffles are definitely a fan fave.

This is a great place for student travelers.  The prices are super cheap, and the location is awesome, and they have a beautiful view of the city!  This spot is close to Kensington Market which offers tons of cool shops and restaurants, and is very close to all forms of transit!

Planet Travelers is known for being Canada's Greenest Hostel, so this is perfect for those who are looking for an environmentally friendly stay! The best part about this hostel is their rooftop patio and bar. This is the perfect place to take in the city and enjoy a cold beer in Toronto this summer!


5. University of Toronto - New College Residences // 40 Willcocks St.

Over the summer U of T converts their students residences into hostels that are open to travelers visiting the city! The rooms are basic dorm-style, but offer free Wifi and shared lounges with kitchens.  The location is ideal for anyone interested in sight seeing because it's right in the downtown core!


6. Ryerson University - Summer Accomidations // 160 Mutual St.

From May through August Ryerson University opens its doors to travelers coming through Toronto. These accommodations are awesome for families or groups, and is super close to the Eaten Center and CN tower!  They also have 24 hour front desk service and campus security to ensure guests are safe and satisfied during their entire stay!


7. The Clarence Park  // 7 Clarence Square.

If you love patio drinks, this is the place for you.  The Clarence Park Hostel offers a rooftop patio with a beautiful view of the park and is super close to other restaurants, bars, and clubs.  If you're looking for nightlife and entertainment, this is the perfect hostel for you!

The All Day Hostel is perfect for those who are looking to explore a little more than just the city! This hostel offers daily trips to Niagara, and airport pick up! There is also no curfew or age restrictions.
