When Toronto's first charcoal ice cream arrived in the city and stole our stomachs we all stood in the line-ups that spill outside the small ice cream shop waiting for our turn to get our hands on the visually stunning treats.
iHalo Krunch was the first in Toronto to serve black soft serve ice cream in black cones for a uniquely beautiful ice cream experience. They get the colouring using activated charcoal, but don't let that turn you off. The flavour is still all there.
They come in matcha, vanilla, ube, and the black coconut. They also have several swirl flavours, and if that wasn't enough to get you to try it, then their opening of a second location should get you there.
Their first flagship store is open now in the Lululemon at Queen and Spadina and fans of this minimalist dessert shop couldn't be happier to have a second location to hit up when they need their black on black treat.
Everything they do is in house from their cones to their soft serve, so it will be interesting to know that it's all being done inside your favourite place to get activewear.
You can get your shop on, and then have a little treat afterwards and these instaworthy ice creams are totally worth the almost 7 bucks they cost.
