One of the most breathtaking views of Toronto's skyline is visible from the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre at The One Eighty restaurant. Located on the southeast corner of Bay and Bloor, the 3,000 square foot provides remarkable city sights to indulge in while you converse over dinner.
The panoramic view provides a perfect explanation for the restaurant's former name, Panorama Lounge. Several renovations were invested to polish off the entire venue. The interior design of the restaurant was modernized with 21 ft raised ceilings as well as marble, brass and wooden accents notably visible at the showpiece bar that seats up to 14 people.
To fully absorb the breathtaking view available at The One Eighty, guests are welcome to dine on the rooftop patio during the warm season. It has become a popular spot to have dinner and watch a magical sunset in Toronto.
When it comes to food, The One Eighty offers a diverse and exquisite menu. If you're looking for a more tapas style experience, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings a "On The Cart" sampling is available to try the chef's daily small plate creations.
Some of the popular items on the menu include the variety of in house made pizzas, tacos, the lobster and crab dip, as well as the chicken and waffles.
As for the sweet tooth and complete dining experience, you must try the Cheesecake Cannoli, that is topped with dried strawberries and pistachio - it will definitely hit the spot.
The One Eighty is also well known for it's fabulous cocktails. From stirred, shaken and frozen drinks - they are so lip-smacking. Go for a night of fun and drinks either during their "After Dark" event that runs on Fridays & Saturdays 10pm to 2am or "Sunset Sundays" from 5pm-11pm.
It is open from Sunday to Wednesday, 5pm - 12am and Thursday to Saturday, 5pm - 2am. Whether it's for a business meeting, night out with friends or a romantic date, this spacious, beautiful restaurant will leave you with a very memorable experience as it has the perfect combination of great food, attentive service and of course a spectacular, breathtaking view.
