This Spot In Toronto Might Be The Smallest Cafe In The World
The definition of a hole in the wall.
Toronto might have the smallest cafe in the world. According to the Guinness Book of World Records the cozy Little Espresso Co in London, England is currently the smallest coffee shop in the world. Little Espresso Co is a 22 square foot cafe that can accommodate up to 4 people. Meanwhile, in Toronto, the new Coffee Lab at 141 Spadina at Richmond is only 18 square feet!
The Coffee Lab is the definition of a hole in the wall. The one-person coffee shop shows how even the smallest of spaces can be creatively used, which is especially important in an expensive city like Toronto! The Coffee Lab's owner, Joshua Campos previously occupied a 52 square foot cafe inside Annex's Willow Books before moving to his smaller location.
The Coffee Lab is a prime example of how good things can come in small packages. Within the closet-sized shop, he manages to operate a successful coffee shop selling outstanding cups of coffee and espresso along with desserts.
The Coffee Lab is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. For more information on The Coffee Lab visit their official website.
