Toronto Is Hosting A Massive Star Wars Live Concert This Winter
May the force be with you!
Star Wars is known for its incredible following of fans who are absolutely obsessed with the sci-fi trilogy. But to so many people who love the Star Wars films, it's more than just a sci-fi trilogy. It's the characters, the stories, the action scenes, and the intensity of space travel that created such a huge fan base!
One of the best Star Wars films to hit the big screen was the 4th episode, Star Wars: A New Hope. This is where the series officially began since they released the 4th episode first in 1977. This is the film where all of our favourite characters, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2D2 and the others, were officially introduced.
This winter the Toronto Symphony Orchestra is going to take you back to the first time you watched the very first Star Wars film in their newest installment of the live concert series!
For 4 nights only from January 23rd until January 26th you can see a live performance of the Star Wars: A New Hope soundtrack while they play the movie on-screen behind the orchestra. It's a truly unbelievable experience that all Star Wars lovers must attend!
If you need a little refresher on what happened during the first installment of this series, Star Wars: A New Hope returns to the desert planet of Tatooine where a young Luke Skywalker begins to discover his destiny. As the civil war rages throughout the galaxy, Luke and his team, including Han Solo, Obi-Wan, C-3PO, and R2D2 set out to save Princess Leia. It ends in a legendary confrontation with Darth Vader!
Guests are encouraged to dress up if they like and they can expect some of the characters to be walking around the theatre before the show available for pictures! Ticket prices range from $56-$130 depending on where in the theatre you want to sit.
