St. Patrick's Day in Toronto is the best opportunity we have all year to highlight the rich traditions of the Irish and celebrate the country's vibrant culture, spirited music, and legendary history. It's also a perfect excuse for Torontonians to hit the town.

Whether you're surrounded by fiddlers and endless shades of green in one of the city's top microbreweries or cozying up with friends in a true Irish pub, St. Patrick's Day is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of warm, festive celebrations during one of the year's coldest months!

Jameson, the company behind everyone's favourite Irish whiskey, will be partnering with the TTC to offer free rides home. You know what that means: there's no excuse not to dress in your best green outfit and (safely!) hit up Toronto's most authentic Irish pubs.

The free-of-charge rides will run on the 504 King and 501 Queen streetcars on March 17 from 4:00 PM until 2:30 AM (so you can have a serious BLAST all night long!).

Whether you're after a good old pint of beer, lively Irish tunes, a melt-in-your-mouth pie, or a smooth and bubbly drink made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, ginger ale, and freshly squeezed lime juice, this curated list of awesome spots has you covered this St. Pat's!

Grace O’Malley's

Where: 14 Duncan St. (Entertainment District)

Begin your day at a legit Irish pub. Grace O'Malley's will be kicking off the celebrations in true Irish style at 10:00 AM on March 17. Surprise entertainment, cool prizes, a special food menu, and tons of live music will ensure that your Paddy's Day is off to a grand start!

The Ballroom

The best part? $5.00 Jameson, $6.00 Jameson, Ginger & Lime cocktails and $10.00 pints of beer with Jameson shots!

You can't do an Irish pub crawl and not visit Belfast Love. Celtic-remix band Shreem will play live on St. Pat's, along with DJs D Smooth, Death Cohen, and ESP rotating all day. Has all that pub-crawling and beer-drinking worked up a serious appetite? Partake in Belfast Love's $5.00 simple fry Irish breakfast from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
