Why it's awesome: This is the quintessential grilled cheese experience. With lot's different options available, there's no way you won't find the grilled cheese for you.

Cheesewerks

Where it's at: 56 Bathurst St

Why it's awesome: This restaurant is all about cheese, in all it's glory, and it knows it's way around a grilled cheese too. Each sandwich is inspired by a different city, but all of them will feel like home.

Cut the Cheese

Where it's at: 2901 Dundas St W

Why it's awesome: This spot specializes in artisinal grilled cheeses. You can have them as plain or as decadent as you want.

Melt Grilled Cheese

Where it's at: 300 Richmond St W

Why it's awesome: Melt lets you choose your cheese, then your bread, and a selection of free toppings. Your sandwich will really cater to you.

Flo's Diner

Where it's at: 70 Yorkville Ave

Why it's awesome: Nothing like a solid grilled cheese with bacon and tomato to get your tummy rumbling.

Glow Press

Where it's at: Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 3401 Dufferin Street

Why it's awesome: The fanciest grilled cheese sandwich you'll ever eat.

Leslieville Cheese Market

Where it's at: 381 Donlands Ave

Why it's awesome: This spot has tons of delicious sandwiches to choose from, but their grilled cheese is easily the highlight of the menu.

The Lakeview

Where it's at: 1132 Dundas St

Why it's awesome: Their Fromage a Trois grilled cheese will make you forget your name. Havarti, Cheddar, and Asiago. Hell yes.

Monarch Tavern

Where it's at: 12 Clinton St

Why it's awesome: This dope bar has seven kinds of grilled cheese on it's menu, but the Archduke (with smoked cheddar, caramelized onion, and mango chutney) is easily the most mouth watering.

Uncle Betty's

Where it's at: 2590 Yonge St

Why it's awesome: Macaroni stuffed grilled cheese. Whaaaat.

The Stockyards

Where it's at: 699 St Clair Ave W

Why it's awesome: Caramelized onions and green apples are always an epic combination on a grilled cheese, but when they're between two pieces of sourdough bread, they're impossible to resist.

Victory Cafe

Where it's at: 581 Markham St

Why it's awesome: The only grilled cheese on this list with red pesto in it. Hot damn.

Porchetta & Co.

Where it's at:  825 Dundas St W

Why it's awesome: Porchetta makes everything better. Why not a grilled cheese?

Swan

Where it's at: 892 Queen St W

Why it's awesome: Both your sandwich, and the bread it sits inside, were made from scratch, and they taste amazing too.

Delica Kitchen

Where it's at: 1440 Yonge St

Why it's awesome: The Italian Job Tripple Decker, with goat cheese and roasted pepper, will satisfy your cravings, while still being the healthiest grilled cheese sandwich you've ever eaten.
