Let us toast to summer! Toronto is an amazing city that has a lot of great breweries. There are so many lovely places to enjoy an ice cold pint. On this list are a few bars with great beer, delicious food and live entertainment.
1. Bar Hop
Calling all hipsters! Bar Hop is a cozy little tavern with an intimate atmosphere. They offer a huge selection of craft beer on draught as well as in bottles and cans. The food is so tasty and unique that you'll want to devour the whole menu.
2. Tallboys Craft Beer House
Tallboys has the largest craft beer selection in Ontario. They offer over 70 different types of Ontario beer at a time. Tallboys sets a high standard for their food and ensure that it's cooked with the freshest ingredients. It's local, baby! Stout? IPA? Amber? They have beer to quench the the masses. Also, their Canadian burger, which includes spicy maple pulled pork and bacon jam, is foodgasm worthy.
3. The Only Cafe
Just by glancing at this cute store front, you'll want to go inside immediately. A cafe by day and a bar by night, The Only Cafe offers a great selection of beer, with the most unusual names. If you're a person that likes their beer with a lot of hops, this is the place to be! Bonus: they have really cool vintage decor and retro board games you can play all night long.

The mystery of the ever changing beer menu will definitely have you coming back for more. Indie Ale House offers fun sounding beers such as "Community Nut Job", "It's Wabbit Season" and "The Broken Hipster".
Beerbistro is a fancier place to get your drink on. Here, you can try different beers that are constantly being updated to fulfill your satisfaction. And it's nice to go to a bar where can sit down for a lovely three course meal, if you feel inclined to do so.
6. Bier Markt
Bier Markt is a beautiful place to enjoy a pint on a warm summer day. You can enjoy a smorgasbord of cheese, crispy chicken wings, and even schnitzel. They also offer talented live bands every week. They also have (wait for it)... 150 beers that are available for your consumption.
7. The Craft
The Craft is a beer pub that's recent addition to the Toronto scene. Although I haven't been there, the reviews are raving. The Craft offers a stellar beer menu that supports local breweries. They have everything from Beau's to Sawdust to Great Lake's Brew.
8. Thirsty and Miserable
Black Flag reference anyone? If you got that then I've found your new hangout. Not only does Thirsty and Miserable offer a great beer selection, they also have awesome staff. This bar may look like a dive but that doesn't make it any less superb inside. I can attest to the fact that there isn't a bad beer on the shelf.

C'est What is the best place to check out funky beers. There are 25 beers available on tap at all times, and 17 others that rotate frequently. Canadian brewed beer is all they serve. Bonus: Many famous musicians have played here so you're likely to catch a great show!
