Winter has officially arrived in Toronto. The first major snowfall of the season has blanketed the city in a sheet of white, and more snow is expected to fall throughout the day today.

And while slippery roads, shovelling snow and de-icing your sidewalk may not be the most enjoyable winter activities, the snow sure does make for an incredible winter wonderland across the city. 

As always, the first snowfall of the year brought everyone with a camera out of hibernation and onto the streets of Toronto. If you weren't already in the holiday mood, you will be after seeing these photos.
