Being in your 20s is great. You've got your looks, and you have minimal obligations. If you find somewhere fun to live, you're pretty much golden. The Annex is exactly one such place. Why, you may ask?
1. Brunch as far as the eye can see
The Annex is full of excellent brunch places to cure your hangover, and some of them, like Futures, offer special discounts to students. You might be a student! Score!
2. Big houses to rent in groups
This neighbourhood is also full of houses that you can live in with three or four of your friends to cut down on rent costs. It'll feel like a slumber party, kind of.
3. Student culture
A lot of people who live in the Annex go to U of T. This means that if you want to throw a house party, your neighbours will probably not call the cops. They might crash it though.
4. Cheap ass bars
There's plenty of cheap places to wet your whistle right in your very own 'hood, so there's no stress about trekking all the way across the city to have fun.
5. Proximity to cool shit
You're only a short streetcar ride away from Kensington Market, Chinatown, and Trinity Bellwoods. That's some accessible fun!
