Let's get real here for a moment, Friends being uploaded to Netflix Canada has changed everyone's lives, for the better. Since January 1, 2015 00:00:01 the world got a tiny bit happier and a whole lot more funny. Now we can spontaneously dive into life with the 6 people we wishfully claim as our own best friends without having to get off the couch, pull out our DVD box sets and sift through which season or which episode to watch.
It is all available at the very click of a button now, which is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing for obvious reasons but a curse, because now that the holidays are over and you need to interrupt your binge-watching for a total of 8ish hours per day, sometimes you can't watch for as long as you might like or as consecutively as you might like.
Which is why, I have struggled, I mean struggled, to choose the top 15 episodes you need to jump ahead to watch, for those moments when you only have 22 carefully timed minutes to squeeze in one episode. It was not an easy task my friends, I had to phone in a friend and include quite a few honourable mentions. There is pretty much not one god damn bad episode of this show.
1. The One Where Ross Finds Out
Season 2, episode 7
This episode changed the course of the Ross and Rachel storyline and the way people looked at closed coffee shops forever all while Monica becomes Chandler's personal trainer. Ross is dating Julie in this episode but Rachel gets meta drunk and leaves Ross a voicemail about how she's "over him" (so clearly not) and much against her efforts he hears it, they have a fight, then they make up and kiss in the rain, it's all beautiful.
QOTE: "What? You're over me? When were you...under me?" - Ross

2. The One With The Prom Video
Season 2, episode 14
Everyone gathers to watch Monica and Rachel's prom video, featuring college roommates Chandler and Ross. The result is a lot of terrible hair and one sad Ross when Rachel's prom date pulls through at the last minute and bursts Ross' plan to save the day. This is also the episode where Joey gifts Chandler with that gold bracelet that he secretly hates.
QOTE: "He's her lobster!" - Phoebe
3. The One Where No Ones Ready
Season 3, episode 2
The group give Ross major anxiety the night of his work function. The entire episode takes place in essentially one room and in real time which happened very rarely over the course of the series. Chandler and Joey erupt into an argument leading Joey to put on all of Chandler's clothes including his underwear, Phoebe gets herself dirty, Monica sulks over Richard and Ross yells at Rachel, leading her to almost make him drink chicken fat. All in 22 minutes of one-liner gold.
QOTE: "I'm Chandler, could I be wearing anymore clothes?" - Joey
4. The One With The Football
Season 3, episode 9
One of the most nostalgic episodes has got to be this Thanksgiving episode where the group throws down in some good Ol fashioned' American football. Things get super competitive and people get mean but the result is a lot of hysterical sibling rivalry between Ross and Monica and one effing entertaining episode.
QOTE: "Phoebe, I thought you said you knew what you're doing." - Monica; "I thought you meant in life"- Phoebe
5. The One With The Embryos
Season 4, episode 12
Phoebe heads to the doctor to be implanted with her brother and sister-in-laws eggs and sperm in hopes of developing some embryos. Meanwhile Monica and Rachel challenge Chandler and Joey to a who-knows-who best quiz hosted by Ross in order to decide who gets ownership of the better apartment.
QOTE: "Actually, it's Miss Chanandler Bong" - Chandler
6. The One With Ross' Wedding
Season 4, episodes 23 and 24
The group heads to London for Ross' wedding to Emily, everyone except pregnant Phoebe and bitter ex-Rachel, until the very last minute when Rachel decides she needs to follow her heart and speak to Ross before he says I do. Unfortunately she doesn't get to tell him how she feels but apparently she doesn't have to because dude says the wrong name at the alter, the wrong damn name.
QOTE: "I Ross, take thee...Rachel"- Ross
7. The One With Ross' Sandwich
Season 5, episode 9
Following the wrong name at the alter debacle, Ross goes a little nutty. When he brings one of Monica's famous left-over turkey sandwiches to work and someone else eats it, well it leads to forced sabbatical and a tranquilizer.
QOTE: "YOU ATE MY SANDWICH??" - Ross
8. The One Where Everyone Finds Out
Season 5, episode 14
Not only does Ross make nice with ugly naked guy, by getting naked and eating mini muffins with him, in an attempt to get his apartment but when Phoebe joins Rachel and Joey in the we-know-about-Monica-and-Chandler club the three of them devise a plan to get the couple to crack, a plan that involves seductive Phoebe and leads Chandler to denounce his love for Monica. The episode comes to an epic conclusion when Ross spots his college roommate on top of his baby sister from the window in his new apartment.
QOTE: "What? No... What are you doing ??!! GET OFF MY SISTERRRR!" -Ross
9. The One With The Routine
Season 6, episode 10
When Joey starts having a crush on his new roommate, a model with an in on Dick Clarks Rocking Eve, Monica and Ross die to fulfill their childhood dream of dancing on the broadcast. When the pair struggle to get on screen they break out their childhood dance, "The Routine" It gets real serious, real quick.
QOTE: "Aw, you're still just a little fat girl inside, aren't you?" - Chandler

10. The One with Unagi
Season 6, episode 17
Chandler and Monica vow to make each other Valentine's gifts rather than buy them, Joey submits himself for medical testing in exchange for some extra cash and Ross tries to teach Phoebe and Rachel the importance of self-defence and the power of 'Unagi' which he claims is a state of total awareness but sounds more like sushi.
QOTE: "Ah, salmon skin roll" - Rachel
11. The One With Joey's New Brain
Season 7, episode 15
Joey is invited to reprise his role as Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days Of Our Lives while Phoebe and Rachel argue over who gets to return a cellphone they found to the owner, who they think is a total babe but turns our to be about 95 years old. The reason that this episode is a must-watch-Asap is the scene where Ross plays his bagpipes in an effort to have Monica let him play at her wedding. The rest of the cast are genuinely fighting back tears, trying to stay in character- Comedy gold!
QOTE: "Why is your family Scottish?"-Monica; "Why is your family Ross?"- Chandler
12.The One With The Rumor
Season 8, episode 9
The Thanksgiving episode that guest starred Jennifer Aniston's (Rachel) husband at the time, Brad Pitt as Will, who went to high school with Rachel, Monica and Ross. We find out that Will loathes Rachel and was co-founder of "The I Hate Rachel Green Club" with none other than Rachel's baby daddy, Ross. Also, Phoebe and Chandler pretend to be into football to get out of helping with Thanksgiving dinner.
QOTE: "So you knocked her up but you’re not gonna marry her? Dude! *goes for a high five*" - Brad Pitt as Will to Ross
13. The One Where Ross Is Fine
Season 10, episode 2
A personal favourite with endless quotable moments (seriously, endless- don't challenge me or my friend on this one, especially her, she can probably recite the whole episode). We, like many others, felt extremely uncomfortable when the show tried to make Rachel and Joey a thing but god, had it not happened this episode would have never been born. Easily top five best Ross moments "FAJITAS!"
QOTE: "'O' is for OH WOW! 'V' is for this very surprising turn of events which I am *still* fine with by the way. 'EEE' is for how extremely normal I find it that you two are together and that one day you might get married and have children of your own..."
14. The One With Ross' Tan
Season 10, episode 3
Hysterical failed spray tan by Ross aside Jennifer Coolidge guest stars as Amanda, Phoebe and Monica's old roomate, who delivers some golden one-liners.
QOTE: "Mississippilessly?"- Ross
Season 10, episode 14
Paul Rudd was seriously underrated during his guest stint as Mike Hannigan, Phoebes eventual husband but god did he shine in this episode. Phoebe, being Phoebe thinks it a good idea to change her name entirely when simply attempting to take her husbands last name, resulting in Princess Consuela Bananahammock. Mike teaches her a lesson by changing his own name.
QOTE: "Ok, I will. This is... this is my husband, Crap Bag." - Phoebe
