As you walk through the door, the charming interior automatically makes you feel like you're in Paris. The breathtaking 11,000 square foot space was designed by Studio Design. The creativity and playfulness is displayed in both the restaurant design and decorations. The rustic furniture creates a super chic look, while the mirrors enlarge the space and make it even bigger than it already is.

World class chef Paul Benallick is a Canadian native, but he has depicted his great knowledge of French cuisine in the menu. Benallick underlines his love for this cuisine on Cluny's website as he states, "“I have been to France dozens of times. I love it there, especially the cuisine and the markets. Provence and Nice will always have my heart; it’s where I aim to retire.”

The menu at Cluny greatly depicts the flavours of Paris. Some of the shareable items include ginger-chili fried frog legs, traditional country pate en croute and sesame crusted asparagus frites. If you're one who loves soups for starters, you have to try the mouthwatering French onion soup that has glazed onions in a rich beef broth or the chilled yellow tomato gazpachio with steamed mussels, clams and shrimp. Other snacks include a variety of tasteful toasts, cheese platters and of course fresh seafood from the raw bar. If we move onto the entree list, there are plenty of dishes to accommodate even the pickiest taste buds. From meat dishes to omelettes, seafood, vegetarian dishes and flavourful salads - Cluny has it all.

There's no true French restaurant without desert. Other than the sweet items on the menu, Cluny also has it's own boulangerie (bakery.) Macaroons, the ultimate chocolate souffle, mousse cakes, fresh bread loafts, croissants and several other tres French sweets, will melt in your mouth and leave you completely speechless.

The classic French fare restaurant has a modern touch to it but it truly does pass on the true flavors of Paris. Have you been planning a trip to escape from Toronto for a jolie experience? Cluny provides the perfect a la France setting whether it's for lunch, dinner or a quick espresso to enjoy with a treat from the boulangerie.
