Canada is known for it's funny and outrageous stereotypes. Hearing the stereotypes is one thing, but seeing them visually on a map adds even more of a comedic impact.
Kirstin Hallett, a graphic designer from Vancouver, attempted to describe Canada through a single map. Each province and territory was shaped by words that reflected the characteristic stereotypes of each region. Although the map is a few years old (it was made in 2012), it's still definitely entertaining:
Maclean's made a similar map too, and it's also guaranteed to get a few laughs out of you. Check it out here.
