It’s that time of year again where Mariah Carey serenades you and food is to being shovelled into your mouth with no after thought. The holidays are right at our front doors so it’s time to break out the eggnog and gingerbread men.

If you have not even thought about the holidays this far, don’t sweat it. Some places throughout Toronto will be closed completely but others will help you and your holiday struggles. So what's open and closed over the holidays?

In case you forgot to get your annoying younger sibling a gift:

Eaton Centre

Dec. 24: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Dec. 25: Closed.

Dec. 26: 7 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Yorkdale Mall

Dec. 24: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Dec. 25: Closed.

Dec. 26: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.

In case you need to get home after a boozy holiday party:

TTC

Dec. 24: Regular service schedule.

Dec. 25: Sunday service schedule (most routes start at 9 a.m.).

Dec. 26: Holiday service schedule (most routes start at 6 a.m.).

The TTC will be offering a discounted Group Pass for the holidays and free rides on New Year's Eve.

GO Transit

Dec. 24: Saturday service schedule.

Dec. 25: Sunday service schedule.

Dec. 26: Saturday service schedule.

LCBO
