Only five days ago, Narcity reported on an alleged sexual assault case involving a group of young Canadian boys at a local high school in Toronto. Today, six boys have been arrested and charged in connection with the case.

Toronto Police formally announced that 6 boys from the all boys Roman Catholic private school have been arrested and charged in regards to the alleged sexual assault that took place on school grounds. 

Police stated that five teenagers accompanied by their parents turned themselves in to police on Monday morning. A sixth student was arrested on his way to school. Each student faces charges of assault, gang sexual assault, and sexual assault with a weapon. 

Toronto Police have stated that they believe that there are three other incidents related to the assault and even more videos to investigate. 

If you're not familiar with the investigation, news that multiple videos of the sexual assault have been spread by students which shows a group of boys assaulting another student in a locker room. Police sources have stated that the hazing incident involved a group of students on the school's football team pinning down another student and allegedly sexually assaulting the student with a broom handle.

Since the incident, reports have claimed that multiple videos have been spread and shared across the student population. Toronto Police are strictly reminding students that possession of this video is considered child pornography and that all students should delete any footage they may have.

According to Huffington Post, when the school became aware of what happened, they neglected to contact police right away because the victim had not told his family what had happened. Toronto Police have stated that the assault should have been reported immediately. 

The school expelled eight students and suspended another on Wednesday in connection to the locker room incident and another incident that involved hazing and was also captured on video.
