Where would you like to see the #TORONTOsign take up permanent residence in the city? John Tory wants to know. Early this morning our mayor posted a video to his personal Twitter account asking the city to tweet him using the hashtag #TORONTOsign to let him know where we want to see the Pan Am instalment, currently on display in Nathan Phillips Square, take up residence at the end of the year.

The city wasted no time letting him know their thoughts. It wasn't long before the hashtag became the top trending topic in Canada.

Some people had some pretty solid suggestions, obvious choices such as Yonge & Dundas, High Park and down by the Rogers Centre and CN Tower. Others, suggested locations a little stranger, a little sassier and some that just seem outright complicated.

That just sounds like a lot of work, a lot of money and a lot of danger.

Yikes, that one stings!

Clearly throwing shade at the mayor for mistaking Kanye West with Drake.

We actually think Ford would love that.

That sounds like it might hurt

The mayor himself had a suggestion, which included throwing shade at those pesky Sens.

And then there's just this gem of a human, showing his support in the most eloquent of ways.

Be sure to drop Mayor John Tory a line on Twitter here to let him know your thoughts!
