A 14 000 Year Old Village Was Found In Canada And It's Actually Crazy
Older than the Pyramids of Egypt.
What's claimed to be North America's oldest human settlement was found right here in Canada.
In BC, some 500km away from Victoria on a remote island, scientists found ancient spearheads among other various artifacts that date back to the Ice Age, according to CTV Vancouver Island News.
The remains were dug up by a University of Victoria student named Alisha Gauvreau. She found the remains on Triquet Island. It's said that the village is the oldest to be found in North America and pre-dates the Pyramids of Egypt.
The remains could possibly shed light on human migration to the Americas.
Scientists will continue to pursue excavating nearby BC remote islands in the meantime, according to experts.
