A Record-Breaking Supermoon Will Be In The Skies Next Week
This will be the biggest full moon in 70 years.
Next week, an record-breaking astronomical event involving a supermoon is expected to occur.
In actuality, supermoons aren't really all that rare, but the upcoming one is going to be different from the others we've seen this year. On the night of November 14, the moon will at a position closest to the Earth since January 1948. As a result, it will be much bigger and brighter than the past supermoons we've had recently, making it an absolutely glorious sight to see.
The next time the moon will be this close to the Earth will be in November of 2034, so make sure you don't miss this one!
