Today might be the first day of fall, but Mother Nature seems to have other plans for Torontonians.
Environment Canada has just issued a heat warning for southern Ontario this weekend, with humidity making it feel as hot as 40 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday.
Environment Canada also says these unseasonably warm temperatures and humidity will stick around through next week. After a particularly wet and dreary summer, this is definitely huge news for Torontonians who didn't want to see summer come to an end.
Following the tragic news of a four-year-old boy dying from overheating in a hot car this week, Torontonians need to be smart this weekend and refrain from leaving pets and small children in vehicles.
Remember if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them.
