Canada Ranked Among The Top 10 Least Corrupt Countries In The World
Gotta love Canada!
Canada is one of the best countries to live in, and Canadians aren’t the only ones who hold that belief. Transparency International recently released its Corruption Perceptions Index for this 2015, and Canada was ranked the 9th least corrupt country in the world.
The index compiles the opinions of public sector corruption analysts and is based on multiple factors, including governmental corruption and quality of institutional services.
Canada was given 83 points, inching it past Germany, the UK and Luxembourg (which were all tied at 10th place with 81 points each).
The United States failed to make the top 10, landing at 16th place with 76 points.
The top 10 least corrupt countries were found to be:
- New Zealand
- UK, Germany, Luxembourg
