Canada's Wonderland Is Hiring 4,000 New Employees For The Summer
The amusement park is hosting three job fairs for recruitment.
It’s that time of year again — Canada’s Wonderland is gearing up for its 2018 season, and it’s looking to welcome 4,000 new seasonal employees for the summer.
The Vaughan amusement park will be holding three job fairs for recruitment this upcoming spring. Available positions include lifeguards for Splash Works, concession workers, kitchen staff, ride operators, security, grounds maintenance workers, retail salespersons, entertainers and more.
“Canada’s Wonderland offers a unique experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry with the opportunity for promotion and advancement as many employees are promoted into seasonal senior management positions as they complete their schooling,” a statement from the park reads.
“In addition to providing a fun, unique and exciting work environment, Canada’s Wonderland offers a wide variety of benefits and perks to its associates including unlimited use of the park and water park, free promotional tickets for friends and family, exclusive employee events and activities, discounts to partnering Ontario attractions, and employee discounts on food and merchandise.”
That’s right — employees can use the park’s 200 rides (which include 16 roller coasters) as often as they like, as well as get free admission for friends and family. Not a bad deal for a summer job.
The next job fairs will occur on March 24 and April 8 from 10 am to 2 pm. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply.
