One of Canada's most beloved YouTube stars will be in Toronto next month. Montreal-born Gigi Gorgeous will be at Toronto's Eaton Centre on Monday, April 15th. She'll be at the shopping centre's Indigo bookstore for an evening to promote her new book, He Said, She Said: Lessons, Stories, And Mistakes From My Transgender Journey.
Before rising to YouTube mega-fame, Gigi Gorgeous attended high school in Mississauga and later studied fashion at George Brown College. Gigi is adored by her fans for her sweet personality and for speaking candidly about her transition. Her channel now has over 2.7 million subscribers. Gigi is now more than just a YouTube personality - she's an actress, a transgender activist and an LGBTQ icon.
Indigo will be hosting Gigi for an intimate discussion about her new book, followed by a signing. Only 150 wristbands will be given on a first come, first served basis.
To secure a wristband to Gigi's event, you'll need to head to the Indigo store at the Eaton Centre at 10:00 AM. Wristbands will be provided with the purchase of one copy of Gigi's new book on the day of the event. A maximum of two copies can be purchased at one time.
As for the signing, Indigo says that only a signature will be provided, which sadly means no personalized messages from Gigi on your copy. Don't bother bringing your Gigi merch either, because it will not be signed. But, you'll be allowed to take some photos.
