Chances are you've already paid a visit to Niagara Wine Country, because if you've found yourself on this site, you definitely like to have a good time.

So what's next on your booze-appreciating itinerary? The new Brewery District of course! Not sure what that is? Let us tell you everything you need to know:

1. 13 local brewers are teaming up to change the name/branding of the area near Dupont and the Ossington Strip.

From Bellwoods Brewery (124 Ossington Ave) to The Junction area.

2. If the project is approved, Toronto’s west end will become the official Brewery District.

The proposal will be submitted to City Council next month.

 3. You will be able to taste products from those 13 brewers during a walk in the neighbourhood:

Bandit Brewery, Bellwoods Brewery, Blood Brothers Brewing, Burdock Brewing, Duggan’s Brewery, Folly Brewpub, Halo Brewery, Henderson Brewing, Indie Alehouse Brewing, Junction Craft Brewing, Lansdowne Brewery, Rainhard Brewing, Station Cold Brew

4. The first Brewery District Festival should happen this summer.

It is not confirmed yet, but it should take place at Henderson Brewing's headquarters (128A Sterling Road) on July 31.

 5. There should be an event happening every day of the week in the district.
