You're hungry, and you want to eat something delicious, but you just don't know what it is. Well, the Globe and Mail has got you covered. Today, writer Sue Riedel published a recipe for the ultimate New Orleans inspired Italian sandwich. It wants you to eat it. Please? Pretty please?
Here's all you need to make this sandwich happen to your mouth:
Rosemary focaccia
Olive salad
Mortadella
Capicola
Salami
Provolone
Swiss cheese
And here's how Sue wants you to put it together:
"Drizzle some oil from the olive salad on both sides of the bread and then layer everything randomly, keeping the cheese separated by layers of meat. Pile the olive salad on the very top and cover with the second piece of focaccia. Then seal tightly in wax paper followed by Saran wrap – no leaks!"
