We may still have a few more months of winter, but Torontonians can take solace in the knowledge that today is going to be the shortest day we have until next winter. Although the winter solstice isn't until December 21st, timeanddate.com shows that as of tomorrow, the sun will be setting a minute or two later almost every day from now until spring.
It's also worth noting that the sun has also been rising later every day for the last few months, and that this will likely continue for at least another month. But even with that under consideration, our days are about to start getting longer. It may not feel like it, and we do still have to muddle through January and February, but spring is on its way! Keep your chin up, Toronto.
