For any Demi Lovato fans, you already know that Demi has experienced a relapse in her sobriety of recent - something she hasn't tried to hide since she sung all about it in her new single "Sober". However, things came to a head yesterday when the pop star was rushed to hospital after what was reported initially as a heroin overdose but was later called an unknown drug overdose.
Demi's team has thankfully confirmed that the "Warrior" singer is awake and responsive, however, she is far from being 100% okay. Having been open about her struggles with addiction and mental health, it would perfectly normal, appropriate and suggested if the star took some time off to take care of herself and get the help she needs in order to be in a safe and healthy space.
With that in mind, it's been reported that Demi's team has cancelled her show in Atlantic City for tomorrow. She also pre-recorded an episode of Fox's “Beat Shazam” which was set to air yesterday but was pulled out of respect for the singer's situation.
With news of shows and appearances being cancelled, it has many Canadians wondering what the status is of the show coming up this week in Toronto is. Demi and Jason Mraz are set to take the stage at Toronto's Echo Beach in support of Kids Help Phone this Sunday (July 29) at 7:30 pm. For ticketholders of the event, they're naturally waiting on bated breath to see if the show will go on.
When Narcity reached out to Ticketmaster for information on the status of the show, a representative responded back saying the following:

However, in the event that the show is postponed or rescheduled, you will need to get in contact with the company for a refund. If for some reason you can't attend the new scheduled time you can just use the "Refund" button on your ticket order which can be found under the My Account tab on the site. While Ticketmaster was unable to confirm if the Demi + Jason show was still set to happen, at least those who have tickets can be comforted to learn that they won't be losing money on the event if Demi can't make the concert.
