One of the most well-known brands in Canada just launched a beer. As of this Friday, February 15th, you can find no name beer at your local LCBO store in Ontario. And to celebrate the launch, no name will honour Premier Ford's buck-a-beer initiative this weekend only. From Friday to Sunday, six-packs will be just $6.60 each.
The beer stays true to the brand's plain and simple style. It's described as a "characteristically Canadian-style lager", which is proudly brewed in Ontario. The packaging is instantly recognizable in its distinct colours of yellow and black.
A six-pack of no name normally retails for $10.45, but to honour the first long weekend of 2019, Ontario deserves something special. The discounted beer will be available while supplies last this weekend. The new beer will also be in stock online at lcbo.com.
But, this is only the first of an entire series of weekends that this promotion will be running throughout the year. So if you don't get a chance to score the deal this upcoming weekend, you'll have plenty of opportunities in the future.
The Senior VP of no name says that the brand was "built on a promise of simple products at outstanding value", and the new beer is exactly that. "This is what we're bringing to beer drinkers who are looking for a quality beer, without all the lifestyle frills," he says.
