In case you haven't already heard, no name beer will be hitting shelves this Friday, February 15 throughout Ontario. The no name brand is one of the most popular brands in Canada who like to stick to simplicity. This beer will not stray from their brand, it will be plain, simple and cheap. For this family day weekend, no name will be focusing on the cheap aspect and will be selling their no name beer for a dollar throughout the weekend, although Canadians aren't really that excited about it.
For family day weekend, no name beer will be honoring Doug Ford's buck-a-beer campaign by offering a beer for a dollar. A six-pack of no name will be available for $6.60 including deposit, while it normally will retail for $10.45.
From Friday to Sunday, Ontarians will be able to pick up the buck-a-beer while supplies last at their local LCBOs. The new beer will also be in stock online at lcbo.com.
This won't be the only time that Canadians will be able to score this cheap deal. The buck-a-beer option for no name beer will be coming back throughout the year, so make sure to keep your eyes open.
However, despite the cheap deals and new product, Canadians just don't seem to be too excited about no name beer hitting the shelves. As the announcement was made, many Canadians took to Twitter to actually express their disgust over the product.
While no one will be able to actually purchase the beer until Friday, many Canadians have taken to social media to state that they don't expect it to taste as good as other quality beers since it's going to be so cheap to buy. Some Canadians have already made it clear that they will not be purchasing this product.

However, just because some Canadians have already hard passed on the beer doesn't mean we won't be seeing it in the stores. Regardless of some of the hate, no name may be receiving about the new product, it will still be available for a dollar throughout Ontario.
