Shoppers Drug Mart is unveiling an exciting new extension of their beauty and skincare offerings in Toronto this week. On Friday December 22nd, The Beauty Clinic by Shoppers Drug Mart will be opening at Oakville's Shops on Dundas at 2501 Prince Michael Drive. A second location at Toronto's Shops at Don Mills will be opening in 2019.
The Beauty Clinic will offer a range of cosmetic dermatology treatments and services, including cosmetic injections, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, peels and a variety of laser services. The Beauty Clinic will also be the only destination in Oakville to offer Picosure® Laser Treatments.
According to their statement this morning, Shoppers says that The Beauty Clinic will offer "a truly holistic luxury beauty experience." It will be staffed and supervised by skilled nurse practitioners, with experience in cosmetic dermatology.
The Oakville pilot store will also sell the latest beauty and skincare products on the market and will accept PC Optimum points on a variety of services, just like Shoppers Drug Mart's existing beauty boutiques at their stores.
The launch comes just days after Shoppers unveiled their online destination for medical cannabis, for which they've already received a license from the Government of Canada. Clearly, Shoppers is on a mission to be known as more than just a drugstore in the eyes of Canadians.
