The TTC Subway System is home to many things: iconic red velour seats, service delays due to ongoing signal issues, and indubitably, drama. Today, a few extra-lucky subway-riders were fortunate enough to score an additional dose of entertainment on their commutes home from work, as a heated debate broke out between two subway passengers on the Yonge-University Line between Rosedale and St. Clair station.
A man who was described to be homeless was reportedly carrying a large cart with his belongings onto the TTC subway. He was then berated and harassed by a woman in the station according to reports, insisting he could not embark on the subway car with his cart. Once he embarked on the subway, the woman continued to heckle the man, yelling at him to get off the train.
One commuter who happened to have front-row seats to the fierce exchange secretly recorded the fight and posted it to Reddit.

Self-Proclaimed "Social Worker" Bullies Man on TTC Subway. Passenger Stands Up for Him. from r/toronto
The video shows a stranger coming to the homeless man's rescue, and standing up for him in front of the women and the other passengers aboard the train. The self-proclaimed "social-worker" accused the homeless man of having stolen the possessions that were in his cart.
She also accuses the stranger defending the homeless man of "liking her" and wanting to engage in sexual intercourse with her, as well as being a "financial trick that doesn't give a f*** about anything".
She continues to tell the stranger to shut up or else she would "slap him", and brags that she has a good lawyer. She then announces to the subway car that she wants to know how much money the man made today, and when the surrounding passengers ask her why, she responds with "You don't give a f*** about anybody...You have no heart, no soul, no empathy, no nothing, no feelings. You're just a psychopath that runs on empty."
"Half of this stuff was stolen, first of all" she tells the subway passengers, justifying her rationale for wanting the homeless man's possessions to be thrown out.
When the stranger once-again protests, the woman responds with "God will judge you. Let God judge you. Here's around" as she pops a candy in her mouth, and sits down on the subway car's designated priority seats, which are reserved for the use of passengers with a disability.
The video ends with the homeless man pushing the cart out of the subway car as he quickly disembarks. A bystander is heard speaking quickly in a foreign language in the background - seemingly disturbed by the incident. The "social worker" addresses him with "It's okay, sir. You'll be okay" and bluntly advises him to seek "psychiatry", as the TTC female automated announcement almost ironically instructs transit travellers to "please stand clear of the doors."
