Condo prices in Toronto keep going up and up and up, but this latest listing really puts the city over the edge! Not only was the latest luxury condo to hit the market Toronto's most expensive, but it's also the most expensive condo in Canada.
The luxury piece of property is retailing for $28,750,000, putting it pretty high on the list of Canada's most luxurious and expensive homes and its place there is rightfully deserved.
The condo takes up a pretty big chunk of an apartment building at 155 Cumberland St, which is in the heart of Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood. With this prime location, the condo boasts amazing views of the city and the CN Tower from it's 5000 square feet of outdoor terraces.
That's just the outside though. The inside has an additional 10,000 square feet, made up of four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a two-story gallery. That's just the beginning of a long list of luxuries.
The condo also features an exercise room and library right in the unit and the building has underground parking and state of the art architecture and design.
The interior is lavishly decorated in warm and bright tones, with a lot of cream colours and some bright pops of red and orange, but with this much potential in a space, you could honestly do anything with it.
At $28,750,000 it's fair to say your monthly mortgage payments would be astronomical, but that's not all you'd have to pay. Since it's a condo there are also maintenance fees and with this particular property, you would be looking at $11,696 monthly.
Keeping all those exceedingly high prices in mind, the chances of any of us being able to afford this condo, or any apartment in Toronto TBH, is pretty slim. Who knows though, maybe Drake is looking for somewhere new to live.
