Toronto's west end will soon be home to a relatively unrepresented cuisine in the city: First Nations. Nishdish is an upcoming cafe that will focus on Anishinaabe, First Nations, and Metis cuisine and products.
The new cafe is the work of Anishinaabe chef Johl Whiteduck Ringuette. According to NOW Magazine, Nishdish will be a "marketeria" offering Indigenous sourced coffee, quick meals, and a selection of food products sourced from First Nations, Inuit and Metis people. Ringuette will also offer catering services.
Nishdish will be located at 607 Bloor Street West.
