It's less than a month until Christmas and the holiday vibes are already starting in the city. Canada's largest winter festival is coming to Toronto for the first time ever tomorrow on November 29th and we couldn't be more excited! Aurora Winter Festival is bringing a massive North-Pole themed event to the city and this event is sure to get you into the holiday spirit.
Aurora Winter Festival will be transforming Ontario Place into a winter wonderland from November 29th to December 30th. The event organizers call it "Canada’s Largest Winter Festival" on their website.
There will be several holiday-inspired attractions and activities to make sure you get a good dose of festive vibes. The festival will be home to a 60-foot Ferris Wheel that will give you an amazing view of the festival from way up in the sky. There are other amusement rides as well, such as a choo-choo train and a carousel.
If you love ice skating, you are going to love skating on their outdoor Frozen Pond that will be decorated for the holidays. There's also going to be a massive snow tube park with a 180 feet long slide.
As for food and drinks, there will be plenty of options at Aurora Winter Festival. The lineup of market vendors and food trucks is to be announced, but there will be Food Gardens and a Main Street Market at the event.
You can even enjoy live entertainment at the event. You'll be able to sip on mulled wine or hot chocolate as you watch performances and warm up at the Entertainment Tent.
Tickets have already been released online on the Aurora Winter Festival website. General admission costs $19.99 for adults and $14.99 for children and seniors. There is also a Family Ticket option. Certain days even have free tube rides included with your ticket, and you can check out their website to see the calendar.
