Toronto is a beautiful place to be during the holiday season. You can wander through a winter village and see Canada's tallest Christmas tree in the same day, and there's no shortage of breathtaking festive displays to get you in the holiday spirit.
Today marks the unveiling of the city's newest Christmas display, put on by Swarovski. This year, Swarovski is transforming the West Wing of Union Station into a crystalized Christmas wonderland.
The display boasts three Christmas trees, two of which will be revolving to provide a breathtaking 360-degree view of the 1,9000 Swarovski crystal ornaments on the trees, glistening from every angle. A crystal train will be travelling around the trees and according to Swarovski, it'll be "unlike anything seen before."
The crystal jewellery company will be celebrating the grand unveiling of the holiday trees today at 5:00 PM. Hosted by Liz Trinnear, the tree lighting ceremony will be accompanied by a live performance from The Willows. The lighting will take place around 5:20 this evening but the celebration doesn't wrap up until 6:30. You don't want to miss it!
