Toronto Might Get A Cable Car Route Over The Don Valley
Move over, CNE gondola ride.
Soon, you won't have to trek to Mont-Tremblant to enjoy a nice gondola ride.
Global News reported that a proposal has been made to offer Torontonians a ride over the Don Valley from Danforth Avenue to the Evergreen Brick Works.
The initiative of a Toronto-based company will cost between $20 to $25 million during the three years of construction.
Torontonians should have a discount on the $10 price, set for tourists per roundtrip on the 1-kilometre cable car.
The company hopes to eliminate crowded parking lots and improve access to urban natural space with the project, that will connect Playter Gardens near Broadview subway station to the Evergreen Brick Works. The electric cars will not pass over any houses.
