Where is the best place in the world to be a university student? Some of that stuff is relative, depending on what your particular needs and interests are, but there are some things that can be graphed across the board. QS provides yearly rankings for schools and cities all over the world, to determine where the best place to be is for the average student.
The placements are decided based on 5 indices: University rankings, the size and diversity of the student population, quality of life, employment activity, and affordability. Toronto doesn't do great on affordability, as any broke student will tell you, but we more than make up for it with diversity and desirability.
Hence our placement at #9, right above Seoul. Considering this is compared to the entire rest of the world, this is pretty dope. But when you also consider that Montreal beat us, it's worth getting mad about. Step up your game, Toronto!
