Sometimes the ACC just isn't enough, which is why we're about to get something better.
The company that runs Woodbine Racetrack is planning to build a new 165 000 square foot concert venue.
The cost of the entertainment complex is estimated at $50 million, reported City News.
The concert hall, located near the Pearson International Airport, would compete with the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, with its 5000 seats (500 below the Toronto venue).
Woodbine Entertainment CEO told NEWSTALK 1010 that the concert hall is part of their vision that would see “multiple forms of gaming, entertainment and horse racing” in the area.
The opening date is set to 2018.
